Toolroom Technician required for Leading Packaging Company!

Our client in Brendale are leading the circular economy through sustainable packaging solutions. They're the brand behind the food brands, providing ultra safe, recyclable packaging solutions designed to stand out in the market.

You must be available for 5 shifts/week, Monday - Friday.
Hours: 7:00am - 3:00pm

Role: Toolroom Technician
Day Shift Rate: $30.10/hour

Your responsibilities will include;
- Operate and Manage material handling systems, blow moulding machines and automated packing lines
- Perform minor machine set up changes, and understand optimum machine setup.
- Support he maintenance and mould change teams
- Support production and quality teams to achieve high quality products
- Ensure work is conducted safely and take safety seriously.
- Maintain quality standards and controls to manufacture.
- Participate in House Keeping activities
- Work independently at times but also as part of a team to achieve the best outcome

Desired skills and experience:
- Experience working in a production warehouse (desirable)
- Mechanical mindset
- Strong commitment to workplace, health and safety
- Problem-solving and solution-focused approach
- Candidate must be comfortable standing on feet for long periods
- Candidate must be reliable week to week and approach each working day with a can do positive attitude
