Fenner Conveyors, a Michelin Group Company, are looking for Trainee Belt Splicer for our Whyalla Branch based in South Australia to be responsible for assisting our trade-qualified technicians in the maintenance, service, repair, and assembly of conveyor components and systems.Due to our continued growth and success, we are now seeking a motivated, self-starter to join our Branch and grasp at the opportunity to join as a trainee. The choice is yours!

You can receive a Nationally recognised qualification securing yourself a fully company-funded Certificate III in Polymer Processing and receive a permanent full-time position with a global mining organisation!

- Must have a strong safety focus!
- Hold a current drivers licence
- Previous experience in a Trade Assistant position ideally in a related industry sector, i.e. manufacturing or mining;
- Possess good mechanical aptitude, as well as sound communication and numerical skills
- Ability to work on-call and overtime.
- Prepared to undergo a full Pre-employment Medical as well as National Police Check.
- Ideally hold any of the following: Forklift ticket, Working at Heights, Doggers, Basic Riggers, confined space
