Fix & Fasten is a thriving independent fastener and industrial supplies distributor looking for a Trade Counter sales team member, preferably with fasteners/consumables experience but most importantly, outstanding customer service skills.
The duties include but not limited to:
- All sales counter operations and transactions,
- Supporting other colleagues in particular sales team and customer service roles,
- Assisting with managing inventory, merchandising and stock presentation,
- Assisting in all daily store operation tasks including administrative tasks from initial customer inquiries, processing orders and completing transactions,
- Efficiently liaising with customers & suppliers to deliver high customer satisfaction,
- Ability to identify additional sales opportunities.
- Educating customers on our product range.
- Picking and packing, where required and working closely with the warehouse.
The successful candidate will have:
- At least 1-year, proven experience in a similar role.
- Preferably strong knowledge in fasteners/consumables within construction and other allied industries.
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and succeed.
- Excellent communication skills for both internal and external customers.
- Good time-management and organisational skills.
- Solution driven and self-motivated.
- Ability to develop strong relationships with customers and demonstrate how we can add value to their business.
- Current Forklift and drivers’ licence would be advantageous.
