The Trade Officer acts as the focal point responsible for liaising with companies and governmental organizations, innovation support centers/organizations (e.g incubators/accelerators), venture capital (VC) stakeholders, and research centers and education institutions based in Australian and in Canada to promote and facilitate Science, Technology and Innovation (STI) as well as Education partnerships.
This position contributes to the delivery of the International Business Development program at the High Commission of Canada by delivering services to clients with the objective of helping Canadian clients make better business decisions abroad.
