About the role
We're looking for trade-qualified team members to join our team as Advanced Operators in our precast facility. If you're a trade-qualified carpenter, cabinet-maker/builder, concreter, roofer or experienced steel fixer and are looking for a change, we'd love to hear from you.
We're a growing business with big plans for the future - we'll show you the ropes and give you opportunity to grow with us.
Key Responsibilities
As an Advanced Precast Operator, some of the things you’ll do may include:
• Interpreting shop drawings
• Marking out panels as per shop drawings
• Preparing timbers and foam to place inside panels
• Installing formwork on tables prior to concrete pours
• Preparing and installing reinforcement for each precast panel
• Pouring concrete / managing the concrete pour
• Finishing the concrete
About you
To be successful in this role, you will have:
• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in the building industry
• Extensive experience in interpreting shop drawings
• A natural flair for detailed work such as carpentry, formwork or similar
• Exceptional attention to detail and a quality focus, always seeking to deliver your best work
• A current driver’s licence
You’ll also be:
• A team player with strong communication skills and a positive, can-do attitude
• Someone who takes a safety-first approach in everything you do
• Someone who identifies and embraces opportunities for improvement
• Someone who aspires to lead a small team - you won't do this on day one, but over time this is something you'll grow into
