We are seeking a Trades Assistant to work alongside our installation team.
We have a team of 8, including the two directors who work actively in the business. We are passionate about providing a great workplace for our team, where each member is highly valued and rewarded for their efforts.
Job tasks and responsibilities
We are looking for a Trades Assistant who will be responsible for deliveries from our warehouse to customers homes, all rubbish removal of old kitchens and assisting our tradesmen with the installation of our ‘Amazing Kitchen Facelifts‘ and Custom Design Kitchens
Ideally this role is a full time position - Monday to Friday 6:30am/7am to 2:30pm/3pm or for the best candidate we are open to part time hours which could be Monday to Thursday or 5 days per week from 7am to 11am/12pm or something similar to suit your needs and ours. Salary will be pro-rata is your preference is for a part-time positon.
We are open to this role being for a family man/woman who needs to have more time off in the school holidays.
A full drivers licence with a clean driving history is essential. As you will be driving a fully branded vehicle your driving is on display at all times and as you will be driving a brand new van we expect and require a respectful driver.
A can do attitude and be able and willing to work unsupervised at times is what we need in all our team.
This is a physical job so an able body with a medium level of fitness and strength is required.
A mature approach to teamwork, communication, and customer service are essential.
All tools are supplied.
Representing the Dream Doors brand you will need to be well presented, courteous, honest, reliable and with a clean, tidy and organised work ethic.
