The Fleurieu Study Hub (Study Hub) is a new initiative for the region, providing opportunities for regional students to pursue post-secondary school education including tertiary and VET alternatives without having to travel or relocate.
The Study Hub is committed to increasing locally supported delivery of higher education in the region through providing greater accessibility, and a supportive environment for students in the communities, and in turn, helping to meet the growing workforce needs of local industry.
Based in Victor Harbor, SA, the Student Advisor is responsible for overseeing the activation and ongoing operations of the Fleurieu campus through supporting current students, driving program demand for future students and a key part of helping the Study Hub to build a strong and positive reputation in the community.
To be successful in this diverse role, ideally you will have:
- Higher education qualification in education, training, or related field would be advantageous
- Knowledge and experience within the university or tertiary education sector
- Experience supporting clients, building and maintaining relationships
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills and ability to contribute positively and effectively within a small team environment
- Marketing and promotional experience
- A current drivers licence
The position is offered at a Level 4 in accordance with the SAMSOA and Council’s current Enterprise Agreement.
