Traffic Management Designer (Qld)

We are currently seeking a qualified Traffic Management Designer (TMD) for South East Queensland.

Reporting to the National Manager Operations, the TMD will be responsible for the provision of high quality development and design services for our clients temporary Traffic Management requirements, to support our works program.

With collaborative and adequate support, you will be required to:

• Manage internal and external stakeholders’ design and planning (TMD QLD) expectations;
• Review client temporary Traffic Management requirements, perform job analysis, hazard identification, risk analysis and provide recommendations;
• Determining the required scope and resources required for the implementation of arrangements;
• Develop designs in accordance with legislation, standards and company policies & procedures;
• Manage traffic activities to meet project /work's requirements, including safety, quality, environment, and community relations objectives;
• Conduct general planning duties in constant contact with internal and external stakeholders and other interested parties; and
• Support the wider Planning Team and undertake other duties as required.

To be successful in this role you will have:

• Traffic Management Design TMR Licence (TMD) (Essential);
• A minimum of one years' experience in temporary Traffic Management designing and planning;
• Experience and/or knowledge of the permit application process for road authorities in QLD;
• Experience using Invarion RapidPlan software;
• Proven experience in task management with strict deadlines delivered with accuracy and attention to detail;
• High attention to detail, time management and adaptability;
• Sound understating of safety systems and risk assessment process;
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; and
• A "Can Do" attitude and friendly demeanour.
