We provide new and used Trailer Sales, service and spare parts to a broad sector of the transport industry Australia-wide. G & A Lombardi are dealers for Roadwest Transport Equipment, Tag-A-Long, Maxi-Trans, Faymonville, and Gergen.
The Role
Role Objectives:
Reporting to the Trailer Sales Manager, the Trailer Sales Consultant is responsible for developing and managing all aspects of the new and used equipment sales business within their prescribed marketing area (PMA), ensuring a professional, efficient, and profitable operation. The Trailer Sales Consultant is accountable for:
• Individual sales profitability.
• Market share within your PMA.
• Ensure accurate specification, quotation, and appraisals for new and used equipment.
• Customer satisfaction and communication.
• Developing new and maintaining existing client relationships.
. Position Responsibilities:
- The selling of new and used equipment within the G & A Lombardi Pty Ltd portfolio.
- Seek and establish new/potential clients. Maintain and develop existing client relationships in an ethical and professional manner.
- Promote and demonstrate new and used equipment to further enhance the market profile of G & A Lombardi Pty Ltd and its products.
- Maintain the customer database via the CRM.
- Ensure consistent, accurate preparation of specification and quotes to clients.
- Participate in and organise marketing activities such as field days, trade association functions, direct mail campaigns and in house presentations.
- Promote all facets of the company’s business, sales, service and parts to provide an industry leading haulage solution provider.
- Preparation of a weekly report monitoring, deliveries, anticipated cash flow and contracts to purchase values and quantities within your PMA.
- Canvas all potential clients to ensure the company is involved with sales opportunities within your PMA.
- Abide by the equipment sales process.
- Ensure professional handover of all equipment sold by G & A Lombardi Pty Ltd.
- Ensure supplier provided equipment is equal to the specification ordered.
- Consult and regularly visit clients within your PMA to ensure client satisfaction with our company.
- Ensure your activities within the sales department are carried out in a legal and ethical manner and that they are consistent with the company’s policies and procedures.
- Actively pursue continuous improvement in assisting with developing and maintaining safe work practices that comply with Legislation, regulations, codes of practice and company guidelines.
The Person
A buoyant self-motivated disposition is a must for this role. Knowledge of heavy vehicle specification, legislation with the ability to generate relationships are critical requirements.
