You will enjoy interacting with people across the business whilst learning about IT Systems Support, assisting in the improvement and awareness of IT systems and finding solutions to improve systems for the people that work with them. You will have a keen interest in Information Technology, especially around the configuration of systems, design of business automations and Information Security.
You will be willing to learn the importance of system security in relation to data and protection of information, and will be willing to learn details of ISO27001 – Information Security Certification, and principles as outlined by the Australian Cyber Security Commission.
About the Role
As a Trainee Information Security & SystemsSupport Officer you will complete a traineeship whilst learning and developing skills on the job to assist with:
• the configuration and maintenance of internal business systems
• improvements to internal business systems
• monitoring access controls
• implementation and monitoring of IT system and security controls
• maintaining IT documentation and processes
• the maintenance and distribution of IT assets
• cyber security awareness
• internal audits, including tools, data and analysis
• identifying opportunities for improvement
• general IT support where appropriate
With our coverage across NSW, some travel will be involved with the role as you build experience and you will either hold a current C class driver’s licence, or be working toward achieving your licence.
You will have (or be prepared to obtain) an NSW Working with Children’s Check and National Criminal History Check.
