About the Role
Based in Welshpool, the role of Logistics Operator is to contribute to the positive experience of both internal and external customers while demonstrating a commitment to safety and continuous improvement.
Reporting to the Logistics Manager, we are seeking an experienced warehouse professional who enjoys working as a part of a friendly and close-knit team while contributing to a positive and hardworking environment.
Key tasks include.
- Picking and packing orders.
- Forklift operation and general warehouse housekeeping.
- Unpacking goods, loading, and unloading trucks.
- Replenishment of pick bays.
- Using a warehouse management system.
About you
A desire to enter the FMCG (Fast Moving Consumer Goods) sector is desirable and a current forklift licence is preferred. Excellent communication skills and attention to detail while maintaining a sense of urgency when dealing with daily demands.
Candidates must be physically fit and healthy and able to perform repetitive manual duties. Prior to commencement satisfactory completion of drug and alcohol testing will be required.
