We are seeking a Services and Contracts Manager to lead our services function. The purpose of this role is to support REMA TIP TOP in ensuring that company and customer requirements are met in a manner that focuses on process, quality, safety and cost effectiveness. The success of the role relies on upon your ability to model safe behaviours, undertake performance management, report issues relating to the delivery of labor or performance of shutdown employees to the General Manager of Operations West and maintain regular and open communication with stakeholders.
The successful applicant will have:
- Proven experience in work scheduling and mobilisation.
- Relevant experience in a management role.
- Fatigue process management experience.
- Experience in supply contract agreements for major tiered contracts
- Previous experience managing on hire agreement contracts.
- Considerable experience managing and motivating a large team.
- Demonstrable negotiation, communication, computer literacy and relationship building skills.
- Financial acumen including ability to read, understand and contribute useful information to profit and loss statements.
- Adherence to the company’s Quality Management System by maintaining high quality and level of records and documentation; and actively reporting non-conformance, complaints, and adverse incidents.
- Preparation of operational expenditure and budgets and both approving costs and identifying cost saving measures.
- Managing the compliance of reporting and making sure information is current and correct.
- Driving, developing and implementing new systems and processes to drive efficiencies.
Selection Criteria:
- Strong communication skills to develop and enhance customer and stakeholder relationship skills.
- Tertiary Qualifications in Contracts or Business Management will be highly regarded.
- Experience with planning, and scheduling services employees in a highly agile market with last minute requirements a common occurrence.
- Experience working in an industry where shutdowns are a prevalent part of the work.
- Strong staff leadership and management skills
- Previous experience leading support teams.
- Knowledge of the relevant awards, legislation, regulations, codes of practice and any other applicable standards that affect operations.
- Detailed understanding of industry best practice.
