Total Prefab is a young and energetic company that are quickly becoming market leaders in the building industry. We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our small but dedicated design and estimating team.
The role will include the interpretation and conversion of architectural plans into 3D construction models for estimation and manufacture via MiTek's Sapphire design software. Also, the preparation of floor, wall and roof estimates, with an emphasis on prefabrication packages. General admin duties are also available while training.
Intensive in-house training will be provided on the use of design software and Australian standards including Certificate 4 in Timber Truss and Frame Design.
The successful applicant will have the following attributes:
- Interest in building and design.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Reliable and eager to learn and work in a team environment.
- Experience with AutoCAD or similar drafting package would be an advantage. Administration / Estimating experience also an advantage.
