Role Details
Reporting to the Supervisor: Process you will be responsible for operating plant equipment in a safe, productive, and efficient manner to ensure efficient plant performance, without adversely affecting the environment or the safety of the team.
This role is offered on an 8 day on 6 days off, 7 nights on 7 nights off roster and is FIFO from Perth or DIDO from local communities.
What to expect -
- Learn the skills to grow and develop your career in mineral processing
- Learn to operate and maintain machinery such as IT, bobcats, tipper trucks and forklifts
- Collaborate with the team to learn to operate various sections of the processing plant including crushers, grinding mills, leaching tanks, Control Room Operations & the gold refinery.
- Housekeeping and cleaning up around the plant (shovelling and hosing)
- Reporting any hazards or broken machinery
- Assisting the maintenance team, especially during shutdowns
- Data entry using computers - systems such as Excel (training provided)
- Working in all-weather elements
- Attend a pre-start meeting - participate in safety discussions, and the work to be completed that day
Key factors to your success include:
- Current driver's license.
- Ability to work shift work
- Experience with mobile equipment would be an advantage.
- Demonstrated experience with computers and programs such as Word, Excel, Outlook, and other databases.
- Able to be adaptable and work well in a team.
