The Co-op has a great opportunity for a hardworking individual to join our office administration team as a Trainee Receptionist. The role will be the first point of contact in our business for phone enquiries and for visitors attending the plant in person. Aside from welcoming visitors to our business, the Receptionist will complete general administration duties for the office and offer administrative support across the wider organisation.
The main duties and responsibilities of this role will include:
- Provide exceptional customer service both in person and over the phone
- Weekly balancing of till
- Compiling stock take reports
- Mailing and banking duties
- Offer administrative support to other departments as required
- Data entry and maintaining current records in relevant Company databases
- General administration and ordering of office stationery
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
- Previous experience in an administration/ reception setting is advantageous
- A friendly demeanour and the ability to engage with visitors
- Sound computer skills, with proficiency in Outlook and the Microsoft Office suite
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- A good phone manner
- Organisation and time management skills
- An enthusiastic and positive attitude towards work
