The role
- Skilling students in a minimum of a Cert II and Cert III to begin or further progress their career path
- Training and supporting students face to face and online
- Use your current training experience and play a part in developing people's careers.
- Imparting not just the theory, but real-life stories of workforce experiences.
- Enjoy taking the time to communicate a message in different styles and approaches to ensure your message is received by a range of learners.
- You will have an inclusive and supportive approach to people.
- And skills to engage, support and empower students to gain the qualification.
- Driven, supportive and community minded person, able to work with a range of learners to support them in building future opportunities for themselves through learning
- Experience in delivering work ready skills and digital literacy training
- Excellent skills in training facilitation and assessment within vocational area
- Relevant qualifications and industry currency (please place your currency on your resume for reference)
- Willing to travel to multiple site locations
- solid experience using technology and managing student requirements and meeting KPI's including units completed monthly and student engagement
- Have an understanding of LMS (Preferably Canvas) and an online trainer portal (we use VETtrak).
- Minimum of a cert III in Individual Support (Disability, Aged or Home and Community)
- Current experience in your industry to share skills and knowledge with new students in this field
- Current and up to date TAE40116 including TAELLN411 or 401A and TAEASS502 or 502A or 502B
- Good computer skills including WebEx, Excel, Word and recording capabilities including a computer with a camera
- Ability to build rapport and motivate students to complete.
