ABOUT THE ROLE:
Advance is seeking a qualified Trainer and Assessor to deliver workplace-based training (apprenticeships) in AHC30921 Certificate III in Landscape Construction.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Instructing, observing, and guiding learners in accordance with the Landscape Construction Training Package
- Engaging and supporting students throughout their learning journey
- Offering flexible learning methods to accommodate students with varying learning styles
- Maintain records of students’ progress and attendance for quality assurance, reporting, and audit compliance
- Analysing current training methods and identifying areas for improvement
- Manage workplace visits
- Maintain professional standards of care for our students and employers
- Support students to become confident, knowledgeable and skilled in workers
- Collaborating effectively within the team
- Maintain professional development identifying changing and emerging trends in the industry
KEY REQUIREMENTS:
- At least 3 years recent industry experience
- TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent
- AHC30921 Certificate III in Landscape Construction or industry equivalent
- Current Working with Children's Check (or willing to obtain)
- Current Police Check (or willing to obtain)
- Experience working with people from diverse backgrounds, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
- Hold a full driver’s licence
- A reliable, fully maintained vehicle
