THE OPPORTUNITY

This rewarding opportunity as a Trainer and Assessor will have you actively on the road, face to face and on the ground working within services and visiting workplaces to:

• Deliver dynamic and sector relevant workplace training and assessment to learners within the Aged Care sector whilst ensuring compliance.
• Provide ongoing training, support, observation and mentoring to learners that supports them to achieve their career goals and make a real impact in their communities.

Whilst this role is initially a full time 12 months Contract position, there is potential for it to be extended. 

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA 

• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
• Certificate III in Individual Support OR Certificate IV in Ageing Support (or previous equivalents) 
• Demonstrated relevant working experience in the Aged Care sector
• Police Check
• Working with Children Check (WWCC)
• A valid driver’s license and access to your own vehicle
• Be available to work on a Wednesday of the 3 days per week (0.6 FTE)

Digital literacy skills and ability to:

• Have multiple windows open and working across them.
• Utilise teams/ zoom/ skype channels.
• Screen share in online face to face channels.
• Use Microsoft Office suite – Word, PowerPoint, Excel etc.
• Write and respond to emails.
• Set up folders on your computer.
• Solve basic IT issues.
