Based in our Brisbane office and reporting to the Sales Manager, you will be working with industries such as Mining, Energy and Transportation including Green Energy and Emergent Technologies, throughout Queensland.
We are looking for a high caliber individual to join the team and be responsible for:
• Delivering Industry recognized and certified Training Programmes for your assigned customer portfolio while supporting your peers as a member of the Training Team delivering to a diverse range of Industries & Customers.
• Maximising sales within the assigned customer portfolio, (and uncovering new customers and opportunities) by execution of our growth strategies
• Developing and maintaining business partnerships with key decision makers whilst creating and executing plans that discover and help drive our customer’s strategic initiatives.
• Designing solutions that apply value propositions and strategies to further commercialise existing and new products and services.
• Supporting customer service and continuous improvement through Swagelok’s values and initiatives
JOB REQUIREMENTS & SELECTION CRITERIA
• 3 years previous experience selling in the industrial sector particularly in analytical systems, instrumentation and/or chemical processing is advantageous.
• Bachelor’s Degree or trade qualification in Engineering desirable.
• Strong business and financial acumen with the ability and genuine willingness to work collaboratively with cross functional teams.
• Must be fluent in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills including ability to communicate and negotiate with key decision makers and high-level client personnel.
• Proven ability to understand technical concepts, plant processes and to take learning new ideas/concepts in their stride with a proactive approach to problem solving and initiative.
• Proficiency with MS-Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and CRM systems.
