OCTEC Limited is a not-for-profit Registered Training Organisation (RTO 90142) based in Orange NSW. We are committed to serving our local communities through high quality training.
We are seeking a pool of Trainers to deliver in Community Services Training in the Central West NSW.
We are seeking a pool of Trainers to deliver
CHC33021 – Certificate III in Individual Support in the Central West of NSW.
OCTEC employs most Trainers and Assessors on a casual basis. All casual Trainers are paid on a weekly basis, and our trainers are paid for preparation, lesson planning, delivery of training, assessment work, reporting and administration. We are also open to discussing contract training through a sole trader ABN by negotiation.
Criteria
OCTEC Limited Trainers and Assessors must meet the following criteria.
- Hold TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment plus the TAELLN411 or TAELLN401A unit and TAEASS502 unit, or TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, or a higher-level adult education qualification
- Hold the qualification/s they are delivering, or be able to map their experience to the qualification(s) they are delivering
- Have recent experience, or have maintained industry currency in the relevant sector (e.g. Aged Care, Disability Care)
- Have participated in activities or professional development ensuring a solid understanding of current VET practices and requirements
- Current drivers licence and be willing to travel
- Current Working with Children Check
- Current National Police Check or be willing to obtain
The above criteria are essential and OCTEC is unable to employ Trainers who do not meet the above requirements. Only applicants that meet the essential criteria and progress to the interview stage will be contacted.
For Trainers in Aged Care-related qualifications, being a Registered Nurse with current registration is also highly desirable.
