Job DescriptionWe have multiple opportunities for experienced trainers to join our exciting multi-year Defence program to deliver an enterprise Health Knowledge Management (HKM) System. This capability will enable better clinical decision making for the ADF by providing market leading healthcare to ADF personnel and is a key capability and priority for the ADF.To prepare end users for use and adoption of the new system, a comprehensive training program is being developed and delivered. Clinical Information Application Trainers will provide end user training in one or more applications across a range of applications such as primary care, dental, and pharmacy. These roles are in the Business Transformation Stream as part of the Training portfolio and will liaise very closely with the Organisational Change Management Team, Clinical Advisors and the Product/Application specialists across the project.Responsibilities include:
  • Development and delivery of instructor led training (virtual and face to face)
  • Planning and implementation of training frameworks and materials in collaboration with the Training Team
  • Creating and maintaining training materials and curriculum
  • Providing specialist training knowledge and apply this to product and clinically appropriate training for end users
  • Supporting coordination of training planning, deliverables and implementation
  • Proactively engaging and liaising closely with key internal and external stakeholders
  • Evaluation of training delivery where applicable.
QualificationsAbout You and What You'll Bring
  • Experience with training programs in a health environment and/or Clinical Information application context
  • Experience with Training end users; inclusive of training plans, customer engagement, training delivery
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple, concurrent activities, while understanding and managing priorities
  • Ability to work and liaise with the team remotely due to the organizational structure and the end user cohort being spread nation-wide
  • Knowledge of the Defence approach to learning such as Defence SADL is desirable.
