Roster: 4D3R FIFO ex Perth or DIDO ex Port Hedland
Reporting to the Superintendent People, we are seeking an experienced Human Resources Advisor to provide advice, guidance and support to the site leadership team and the wider workforce on matters relating to performance management, employee relations, industrial relations, employee engagement and retention, reporting, training and development and succession planning.
Key Responsibilities- Work in conjunction with site leadership teams to ensure the effective implementation and management of Fortescue People policies, practices, and procedures to ensure an optimal working environment is supported alongside the promotion of Fortescue's culture and values
- Provide guidance to the site leadership teams and wider workforce on Fortescue policies and procedures, employee relations, industrial relations etc.
- Support leaders with organisational reviews as required
- Drive regular Fortescue People initiatives, in line with agreed timelines
- Initiate, manage and contribute to major Fortescue People reports, projects, committees, reviews, and continuous improvement activities
- Support and facilitate leadership development training
- Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Employee Relations or other relevant field
- Demonstrated experience working in a HR generalist role covering IR/ER, performance management, organisational development, and HR reporting functions
- Demonstrated capacity to effectively communicate, promote, and uphold Fortescue People initiatives and company values with discretion and confidentiality
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills at all levels of the business, including interviewing, counselling, negotiating, and report writing
- Well-developed organisational and administrative skills, including strong attention to detail with the ability to prioritise
