Our client, a fast-growing organisation with operations across Australia and a workforce of over 1,000 people seeks a Trainer- Community Services to assist with the training and case management for youth and residential care workers. Make a real difference in the lives of our Youth Workers and young people through your targeted specialist advice driving quality of care and practice.
You are a direct report to the Therapeutic Practice Manager.
Responsibilities
- Provide essential training in therapeutic crisis intervention
- Facilitate case review functions at a local level to provide recommendations and expertise in care planning
- Engage with young people and their care teams
- Ensuring preferred models of care are consistently applied within the service and practice
- Consult, as required, on intakes and referrals, including risk assessments and supporting the team to prepare the property and planning after a referral has been confirmed
Qualifications, Skills & Experience
- Qualification/s or sector experience in Community Services
- Demonstratable leadership experience
- A genuine passion to making a difference
- Energetic and enthusiastic personality
- Knowledge of and experience in applying therapeutic models of care
Travel is required for this role and the successful candidate should have their license and access to their own vehicle. You will be based in Canning Vale, Western Australia. Hybrid working arrangements are not offered.
