Real Community Services was established in January 2006 and now provides thousands of personal support hours per week to hundreds of people with disability, acquired brain injury or neurological conditions by focusing on empowering and improving their lifestyles. Providing quality services across the Sunshine Coast, Greater Brisbane, Ipswich as well as the Gold Coast areas.
About the Opportunity
As Real Community Servies grows, so does the opportunities we have available. We currently have a 6 month Temporary Contract for Payroll Administrator. This role will be based at our Browns Plains Office on a Part-Time (30 hours) basis.
You will be responsible but not limited to –
• Oversee & processing of weekly payroll for Real Community Services
• Complying with relevant awards and legislation (SCHADS)
• Answering any general payroll related matters and enquiries
• Working collaboratively with RCS Staff including Facilitators, HR, Accounts and Management teams
• Data Entry & Employee record maintenance
• Answering phones and redirection within the RCS team
• Any other duties as required by Accounts and HR Managers
Work Experience and Skills
Essential:
• Proven ability to liaise and communicate effectively at all levels of an organisation as well as with external stakeholders and government bodies when required
• Strong time management skills
• Demonstrated proficiency in computer software packages including but not limited to, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Keyboard skills.
• Able to work autonomously and ability to work as part of a team
Desired:
• Knowledge and demonstrated experience with Payroll systems Cloud Payroll & Reckon
• Understanding of the SCHADS Award & NDIS industry regulations
Role Requirements:
The successful candidate will be required to obtain and hold the following;
• National Police Check
• 100 points of ID (including Driver’s Licence)
• Right to Work in Australia
• Ability to work over Christmas/New Year Period (excluding Public Holidays)
