Qualifications & experience

• TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or its successor Certificate IV in Training and Assessment plus the following units: TAELLN411 (or its successor) or TAELLN401A, and TAEASS502 (or its successor) or TAEASS502A or TAEASS502B or a higher level qualification in adult education.
• Have qualifications and experience in one or more of the following areas at least to the level where you would teach
  • SIT40516 Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery
  • SIT50416 Diploma of Hospitality Management  
  • BSB50420 Diploma of Leadership Management
  • BSB60420 Advanced Diploma of Leadership and Management
  •  
• Experience in Training, teaching is desirable
• Industry/professional Experience
• Strong language skills and sensitivity as well as ability to adapt teaching styles to students of different backgrounds and language skills
• Police Check

Tasks & responsibilities

• Deliver training in Certificate IV in Commercaial Cookery, Diploma of Hospitality Mangement, Diploma of Leadership Managemnet and Advanced Diploma of Leadership Management . Specifically Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery, and Diploma of Hospitality Management  train and assess students in class rooms, and work place,plan, review and improve training and assessment material,Work with students to ensure work placement as well as monitoring of students are done properly.
