The college is seeking self-motivated Painting and Decorating Industry professionals
with a passion to pass on the skills & knowledge to the aspiring professionals and to
deliver and assess the following course:
Certificate III in Painting and Decorating – Trainer and Assessor
The following are the requirements to apply for this role:
Qualifications and Experience:
CPC30620 - Certificate III in Painting and Decorating or equivalent vocational
competencies at least to the level being delivered and assessed
TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or TAE40110 Certificate
IV in Training and Assessment with TAELLN411 or equivalent and TAESS502
or equivalent
Must meet Industry currency and Professional development requirements as
per SRTO 2015 Clause 1.13 - 1.16
Sound knowledge of the Vocational Education and Training System including
SRTO 2015 Standards, ESOS National Code
Current Working with Children Check and willing to undertake a National
Police check
Minimum 5 years' industry experience or above
White Card
Experience in the implementation of training programs in line with Training
Package requirements
Experience in the development of learning and assessment resources and
validation
Demonstrated competence in the facilitation of both group and individual
learning
Proven and effective communication skills both written and verbal
Proven competence in a range of information technology applications,
particularly google and Microsoft Office suite products
Skills and Knowledge:
Good Communication & Interpersonal skills
Passionate and enthusiastic educator
Willingness to learn and apply new skills/abilities
The right attitude and personality to build and maintain rapport and trust with
students
Demonstrated ability to establish, build and maintain relationships
Ability and willingness to encourage and inspire people to achieve goals
Desirable:
Experience working with both Domestic and International students.
Current first aid certificate
National Police Clearance certificate
Proven ability to develop training and assessment strategies (TAS's) to meet
training package requirements
Experience with online training delivery
Weekend availability
Wisenet (Student Management System) and Moodle (Learning Management
System) experience
Trainers and Assessor Duties include:
Delivering and assessing the units of competency within the program
In conjunction with student support services and RTO/Academic Manager or
authorised representative, ensuring appropriate course progress
Proven ability to follow training and assessment strategies (TAS's) to meet
training package requirements and Orange International College program
requirements
Maintenance and submission of accurate and reliable assessment records for
all students
Reviewing and improving training delivery, assessment processes, and
assessment tools.
Trainer Matrix and Professional development – Must be willing to maintain
and update as per Orange International College policy and standards
