A new opportunity for a TAE Trainer & Assessor is available for a leading influencer in the education & training sector. This role is not your ordinary training role, it is filled with growth and development opportunities, interstate travel, face-to-face delivery, potential leadership pathways and so on. Delivering assigned TAE training from enrolment through to successful completion, this role will play an integral part in mentoring, and coaching others, and delivering to the highest of standards.
Based in the inner suburbs of Melbourne, this opportunity will be responsible for, however not limited to the following:
- Facilitate group and online activities.
- Delivery of training sessions face-to-face to students, covering all required content and adhering to all regulatory requirements and high quality.
- Manage and support the delivery of online training to students.
- Assess students by providing constant feedback and applying a fair and just method of assessment. Consistently provide students with guidance on future options and outcomes of the assessment process.
- Constant improvement and development of training plans that meet the requirements of the relevant training package, and the standards.
- Support and advise participants throughout their learning journey, addressing individual needs and requirements.
- Administration and compliance responsibilities – RTO systems are up to date, maintain accurate student course records, contribute to validation and moderation, are compliant with organizational policies, participate in internal and external audits, and are compliant with state legislation and regulatory requirements relevant to individual duties.
Key skills and qualifications required for the role include:
- Must hold a Diploma of Vocational Education and Training (and/or) Diploma of Training Design and Development.
- Sound experience within a VET environment, ideally in delivering the TAE40116/22 qualification and key skill sets.
- Knowledge and understanding of the VET industry and its governance.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal & written communication skills.
- Positive mindset and open to learning.
- Pride in coaching and mentoring others.
