- Designing and implementing specialised training and development programs.
- Coordinating various development plans and associated training and development activities for employees, including VoC management and providing guidance to ensure workers and subcontractors have the necessary skills to meet all current and future requirements.
- Coordinating accredited and non-accredited upskilling and training opportunities for the workforce and reporting results to CSQ quarterly.
- Ensuring Queensland Government Training Policy Compliance by providing guidance, managing training hours and providing input on the training commitments in tender responses. Working with CSQ and other relevant stakeholder to ensure industry funding and opportunities are maximised and overseeing the engagement and management of Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) involved in delivering nationally recognised training programs to our workforce.
- Capacity to train and assess students using a variety of delivery methods.
- Well-developed written, oral, presentation, interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong administrative, organisational and time management skills.
- Demonstrate commitment to self-development with the focus on qualifications/skills update and current industry practices.
- Training experience face to face including with students facing barriers to learning.
- Blue/White Card and flexibility to travel state-wide.
