About the position
Terra Mining are seeking an experienced Training Advisor to join the team at the Binduli project in Kalgoorlie region, WA.
Reporting to the Training Coordinator, you will support the design, development and delivery of training programs to build skills and competencies of mine operations employees to safely and effectively perform tasks associated with their roles. This role will work an 8&6 roster.
Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to
- Providing training, assessment and verification of competency (VOC) services to Mining operations personnel (employees and contractors), including Operations, Maintenance and other areas as required.
- Maintaining an up-to-date Training Needs Analysis and skills matrix for personnel within the site operations.
- Designing, maintaining and delivering inductions and onboarding programs to support Mining operations, as well as assisting in the facilitation of general surface inductions and onboarding when required.
- Facilitating the collection and storage of accurate training and assessment records.
What you will bring
- Knowledge of Training & Assessment methods & techniques to AQTF standard.
- Proven competency in the operation of Integrated Tool carriers, Heavy earthmoving equipment.
- Demonstrable s experience in Open Pit mines.
- Demonstrate a high level of facilitation/presentation skills as well as flexibility in coaching and training techniques.
- Effective relationship-building and collaborative skills.
- Cert IV Training & Assessing TAE 40116 or higher.
- Proficient with MS Outlook, Word, Excel & PowerPoint
- Be able to pass a Pre-Employment Medical including drug and alcohol testing
- Must have the right to work in Australia
- Current National Police Clearance, issued within the last twelve months
