We have a one-of-a-kind opportunity in a large family-owned agribusiness for a Training and Induction Administrator to join our team on a 12-month fixed term contract. This position is primarily responsible for the induction of new staff and labour hire employees to the Linley Valley Pork (LVP) site.
This role involves the coordination, planning and execution of training, along with ensuring training records are accurately maintained. In addition, you will provide support to the People, Culture and Capability team.
The role will be based at our Linley Valley Pork site located in Wundowie reporting to our organisational development manager.

Key responsibilities
- Assist in development of Linley Valley Pork (LVP) site induction for new employees.
- Coordinate site inductions for site visitors, new employees, and labour hire employees, including site tour.
- Ensure new team members are provided uniforms/tools/lockers and information required to commence their roles.
- Work closely with on-the-job trainers and buddies to ensure a smooth transition for new starters.
- Coordinate internal and external training programs, where required.
- Work with the broader People, Culture & Capability team to continually improve, simplify, and streamline the induction, onboarding, and training processes at Linley Valley Pork (LVP).
- Assist with offboarding process, updating training matrix and biometric system.
- Work closely with our QA (Quality Assurance) department to ensure staff training needs meet compliance and audit requirements.
- Responsible for communication with site supervisors regarding upcoming Training and refresher training requirements for production staff.
- Contribute to the review and update of work instructions to ensure these are accurate and incorporated into learning matrix.
