We are currently recruiting for an experienced HME Training Advisor within our HST Training Team at our Woodie Operation, situated 407kms SE of Port Hedland in the Pilbara, This position will play an integral role in the training and assessment of all employees whilst continuing to maintain a safe workplace
Reporting to the Senior Training Advisor (HST), the successful applicant will be required to:
- Deliver skills knowledge and upskilling training in line with site requirements to achieve a safe and competent workforce across all departments onsite (Mining, Processing, Mobile Maintenance etc)
- Assist in the development of a training matrix of courses to support site needs and schedule individual assessments and training plans in line with the matrix;
- Assist in managing the Training System – InTuition; (INX)
- Facilitation of training needs analysis (TNA’s) across the business;
- Development and review of training packages;
- Supporting the implementation key L&D projects; and
- High Level of operational competency in Heavy Mining Equipment.
Our mining fleet consists of Cat Excavators (6020), Komatsu Excavators (PC1250), Cat Graders (16M), Dozers (D10T-2 & 854K), Loaders (988K/980/950) Dump Trucks (777) , Water Carts (777), and various other supporting machines.
Successful Applicants will require:
- Competent and Proficient in operation of the above machines;
- Certificate IV TAE (Trainer and Assessor);
- Strong commitment to following health, safety and environment policies and procedures;
- Previous experience developing and reviewing training packages;
- Strong knowledge of legislative requirements related to Safety & Training;
- High level of computer literacy, particularly INX, and MS office suite preferred; and
- Current National Police Clearance (No older than 6 months).
