ABOUT THE CLIENT
Our client is a Registered Training Organisation who delivers various courses in the Building & Construction industry across Victoria & NSW.
POSITION OVERVIEW
This role focuses on managing training and assessment operations for the RTO, ensuring compliance with standards such as those set by Registered Training Organisations, Safe Work NSW, and Occupational Health and Safety, along with other pertinent legislative and regulatory requirements.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure adherence to quality training and assessment practices.
- Manage compliance with VET Quality Framework and relevant legislative requirements.
- Facilitate transition to new Training Packages and manage superseded courses.
- Ensure organisational compliance with legislative and contractual obligations.
- Participate in internal audits and maintain regulatory standards.
- Recruit, induct, and monitor trainer/assessors.
- Maintain trainer portfolios and ensure compliance with RTO standards.
- Provide ongoing support and organize professional development sessions.
- Serve as a Safe Work NSW representative.
- Ensure assessors meet requirements and manage assessment logistics.
- Handle notifications and paperwork for assessments.
- Coordinate servicing and replenishment of supplies.
- Maintain cleanliness and functionality of training areas.
- Schedule classes and allocate resources efficiently.
- Ensure students are directed to appropriate classrooms.
- Monitor trainer allocations and provide necessary support.
- Assist with student and trainer issues, including complaints and incidents.
- Experience in training and compliance management within the education sector.
- Strong understanding of VET Quality Framework and relevant legislation.
- Knowledge of the construction & civil industries
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
- $70,000 - $75,000 per annum + Super
