Reporting to the Health, Safety and Training Manager, the Training Coordinator will play an integral role in the planning, development and implementation of site training programs and systems to maintain compliance with our Safety Health Management System and Annual Training Plan.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Developing strategic alignment with the future training and skill needs for the business, with a continuous improvement mindset.
- Preparing and facilitating site training days, maintenance of the training database, on-boarding of new starters, oversight of the induction function, and coordination of new to industry training programs.
- Coordination skills will be crucial to allow the mine statutory training/maintenance of competency is to the required industry standards.
- Accurate record keeping, attention to detail and capacity to establish effective working relationships, will be crucial to your success.
About you:
- Previous experience in a similar role and experience using training database systems.
- Tertiary qualification in Training and Assessment.
- Efficient in the use of Microsoft Office.
- Promoting and maintaining a high level of positive safety performance and workplace culture through teamwork, personal commitment, and application of the company values.
- Ability to work both autonomously and within a team environment.
- Ability to liaise with key internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong interpersonal, communication and leadership skills.
