The BAE Systems Aviation Technical Training (ATT) project delivers all aviation trade training and technical manager training to the Australian Defence Force. This role is the perfect opportunity to become a part of the future of Australian Defence aviation training, and help shape the Defence aviation technical workforce of the future.
We embrace flexible work arrangements at BAE Systems Australia. You will be part of an inclusive and supportive team, reporting to the Training Design Manager, and will be employed on a permanent full time basis.
Key responsibilities include:
- Design and develop learning/training solutions, products and services that align with vocational education and aviation regulatory frameworks
- Collaborate with technical subject matter experts to integrate feedback, student support, assessment and course evaluation into the training project
- Provide training specialisation skills and advice to support the Aviation Technical Training project
- Apply human centred training design principals, and conduct user testing and validation of e-learning resources
- Design, develop, analyse and evaluate a broad range of training instructional materials
- Collaborate, develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, customers, and industry partners
- Ensure employee training records are effectively updated and maintained
About YOU
- Training/Learning Design experience with the ability to develop training content and e-learning resources
- Experience in planning training resources, materials and technical requirements for the development of e-learning resources
- A certificate 4 in Training and Assessment and goods skills with the Microsoft Office suite
- Good communication skills, the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment, and the ability to learning new technologies
- Whilst not essential, video photography/graphic design skills or an understanding of the Systems Approach to Defence Learning (SADL) methodology, will be highly regarded
