About the opportunity
Reporting to the HR Coordinator, this is a fixed-term work opportunity for a period of 6 months.
The Training & Development Officer will be responsible for completing high-quality administration, content creation and training coordination duties for MultiLink’s Support and Core Staff workforce.
High-level organisational and administrative skills with an ability to support the creation, updating and organisation of company training programs as the direction of the HR Coordinator– as well as business acumen and skills in communication, cultural awareness and relationship management – are vital to the success of this role.
This position is crucial to delivering high-quality workplace learning programs, corporate learning events and training.
Responsibilities will include:
- Act as the first point of contact for all mandatory training enquiries.
- Undertake Company Inductions including Aged Care and Disability Job Inductions and organisational inductions.
- Assist and support the sourcing, management and/or delivery of the online development portfolio including instructional design, and implementation and/or delivery of blended learning, with a focus on mandatory training i.e., face-to-face and e-learning sessions.
- Review and evaluate all mandatory training programs including e-learning, professional, technical systems and business programs and work with the HR Coordinator on development and implementation to continually improve the training programs delivered.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to establish and deliver on project requirements and project priorities.
- Provide support in the day-to-day operations of the HR Team by providing appropriate administrative and project support, as well as assisting with the implementation of initiatives.
The must haves:
- A tertiary qualification in Human Resource Management or Organisational Psychology with relevant experience and/or an equivalent level of knowledge gained through any other combination of education, training and/or experience of 3 years.
- Experience in the creation and delivery of mixed learning programs including mandatory training.
- Demonstrated commitment to delivering high levels of internal and external Customer service;
- High level of emotional intelligence, interpersonal and written / spoken communication skills;
- Well-developed time management and organisational skills, with the ability to handle conflicting and varied priorities;
- Positive, ‘can-do’ attitude with the ability to use initiative to resolve problems;
- Intermediate to advanced competency in Microsoft Office; and
- Experience in the use of introducing a Learning Management Systems (LMS) or HRIS system.

You will also need to possess the following:
- NDIS Worker Screening Clearance or Disability Services (Yellow Card Exemption)
- Working with Children Blue Card
- National Police Check (undertaken within the last 2 years)
- COVID-19 Vaccination (or approved exemption)
- Possession of a current "C" class Drivers Licence is essential, with a good driving record.
