This is where you can do your best work.Join us at the intersection of saving and sustaining lives—where your purpose accelerates our mission.The Role:We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Training & Education Manager to join our ITT (In-Service Training and Training) team at Baxter. As a key member of our ITT team, you will be responsible for leading a team of trainers, driving training and education programmes, and interacting with customers to understand their training needs and preferences.Reporting to the Director of ITT, you will be responsible for providing regular customer training reports, continuously identifying areas for growth and improvement in the training and education programmes, while managing the travel schedules and time sheets of the clinical product trainers.Key Responsibilities:Team Management: Manage a large team of clinical product trainers, including performance management, training and development, and ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures. Training and EducationProgrammes: Drive training and education programmes for the ITT team, developing and delivering training content, coordinating training sessions, and ensuring effective and budget-conscious deliveryCustomer Interaction: Interact with customers to understand their training needs and preferences, tailoring training programmes accordingly, and communicating with customers via email, phone, or in-personReporting: Provide regular reports to the Director of ITT on the progress of training programmes, team performance, and any other relevant informationTravel Management: Manage the travel schedules and time sheets of the clinical product trainers, ensuring efficient and budget-conscious arrangementsIdentifying Areas for Growth: Continuously identify areas for growth and improvement in the training and education programmes, making recommendations to the Director of ITT for implementing changesRequirements:Tertiary degree in Education/Training/Business Administration, or related fieldsPrior leadership experience in managing a team of trainers or educators, in a healthcare or medical device industry setting is highly desirableProven track record of developing and delivering effective training and education programmesExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with customers and stakeholders at all levelsStrong leadership and management skills, with the ability to empower and guide a team to achieve goals and objectivesStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify areas for growth and improvement and make recommendations for changeStrong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlinesProficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications.Why Baxter?At Baxter ANZ, we are focused on being a Best Place to Work where our people can be their authentic self, feel valued and respected.
