We are Five Good Friends, a dynamic, happy, quality aged care and NDIS service provider.
Whilst our unique software works in the background, we wrap a team of good people around our clients so they can live better lives in their homes, be connected to their friends and communities, and do what they love.
High-thinking people using friendly software is how we do care differently and why we have just completed our 1-millionth visit in seven short years.
Another reason Five Good Friends differentiates from other providers is our in-house Learning & Development (L&D) team. Our L&D team analyses our training needs, develops learning activities we need and puts them into place. This results in learning for real-life care situations, in the real world: in people's homes.
Our teaching methods boost our workforce's morale by teaching them on a need-to-know and want-to-know basis, at the level of learning the support worker wants. Combining this with interactive teaching demonstrates why our support workers love our courses.
As the number of courses grows and the number of new support workers joining Five Good Friends increases, we need a Training Facilitator to join our team.
Our work is meaningful, and the training problems we solve are interesting: we need a person to create, write, and develop educational materials and teach others so the person can deliver high-quality services.
The role is:
- Permanent
- Full-time position
- No matter where you live in Sydney
Your weeks will vary; however, primarily, you will be:
- Creating educational and training resources from the comfort of your own home

- Teaching support workers online and face-to-face
- Assessing new support workers to ensure they provide safe, person-centred care
- Mentoring long-term support workers to up-skill
- Contribute to maintaining training records and learning management systems.
