The Training Specialist is responsible for the preparation, delivery, assessment and evaluation of the relevant training program to employees.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee, participate and conduct the training program, including initial onboarding of new starter groups, refresher training and new product/client launches.
- Participate in and contribute to the continuous validation and revision of training packages and programs.
- End to end support and supervision of new starters in the completion of mandatory courses as per their Training Plans and course schedules.
- Oversight and delivery of courses in accordance with training packages.
- Accountable for the coordination and escalation of all operations training compliance.
- Support and supervise students to complete their courses as per their Training Plans and course schedules.
- Deliver courses in accordance with Training Packages and industry requirements.
- Ensure employees and employers satisfaction benchmarks are met or exceeded.
- Maintain oversight of internal and external (client) training systems to ensure compliance.
- Attend meetings and other engagements relevant to training programs, products and promotions.
- Strong stakeholder management capability.
- Participate and contribute in internal and external audits relevant to training and compliance.
- Maintain accurate employee and course records and complete all required reporting.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of the Training department and wider organisation.

Essential
- Experience within the Aviation/Airline Industry, in above and below wing operations.
- Prior experience in Training and/or Compliance.
- A valid Australian driver license.
Desired:
- A valid Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC), or the ability to successfully obtain one.
- A valid authority to Drive Airside Card (ADA), or the ability to successfully obtain one.
- Certificate in Training and Assessment or equivalent relevant Industry experience.
- Senior First Aid Training
