About the Role
Are you a caring and highly detail-oriented individual seeking a career with a purpose? We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our funeral services team as a Funeral Transfer Specialist. In this role, you will ensure the seamless and respectful care and transfer of the deceased.

Your role will include, but not limited to:
- Body Transport: Safely and respectfully transporting the deceased from various locations, such as homes, hospitals, or other facilities, to our funeral home
- Care and Preparation: Handling the deceased with utmost care and preparing them for their final journey, including placing them in caskets or other appropriate containers
- Documentation: Ensuring accurate documentation of transfers, verifying identification, and complying with all legal requirements
- Communication: Building positive and supportive relationships with the families of the deceased, as well as collaborating effectively with funeral directors, hospital staff, and other professionals
- Cleanliness: Maintain facility and vehicle cleanliness as part of the daily duties
This position will facilitate coronial transfers, some of which may involve confronting scenes.

- Demonstrates maturity and professional demeanor
- Has developed knowledge of technology (iPhone, email, Microsoft Office)
The successful applicant will be required to hold a valid and current Drivers License, undertake a Police Check, and proof of relevant immunisation requirements.
