Transfer Station Attendant

Our client is the largest waste management company in Australia providing sustainable waste management solutions to a wide range of companies. They currently have new roles available between two Transfer Stations in the Redlands area.
Job Brief/Overview:

• This position is a low-physical activity position.
• Meeting people as they arrive at the Transfer Station, recording their details, and directing people to the correct location to unload their waste & recycling.
• Direct traffic coming onto the site while monitoring all vehicles entering/leaving the site.
• Assist customers with their inquiries and ensure customers receive the highest service standard possible.
• Maintain a professional image of the company and always deliver high-quality customer service.
• Keep the general area of the Transfer Station including the office in a clean, tidy and hazard-free condition.
• Complete all records and paperwork accurately, as directed and required.

Ideal candidate:

• Ability to work at both sites (Redland Bay Transfer Station & Birkdale Transfer Station)
• Good written communication skills
• Great customer service
• ESSENTIAL - Drivers Licence & Own Vehicle
• Good work ethic, understanding the importance of turning up to work.
• Ability to complete repetitive, mundane tasks.
• Commitment to safety
• Self-motivated
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
• High attention to detail

• Pay rate of $34.18hr plus penalties

• 7-day operation with a rotating roster. Hours between 07:00 am – 5:30 pm
