What does the job look like?
Linfox's Intermodal business unit is currently seeking a dedicated Administrator to join their team located in West Melbourne. In this role, your primary responsibility will involve overseeing Linfox's critical contracts, and ensuring the timely and cost-effective achievement of both internal and external commitments. Your duties will also include various aspects, including coordinating payroll functions, processing data, facilitating communication with internal and external stakeholders, and providing general administrative support within the operations. We currently have a max term 12-month opportunity available working Monday to Friday, starting at 9:00am. Key areas:

- Establish exceptional customer service relationships with subcontractors/hauliers, delivering a comprehensive Fit to Pay service.
- Maintain strict compliance by meticulously reviewing and ensuring completeness of all freight documentation, invoices, manifests, and POD records.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Access, and Microsoft Excel for effective documentation and data management.
- Efficiently address missing PODs with drivers, rectify manifest errors with depots, and propose process enhancements for improved accuracy.

- Previous experience in administrative or support function in logistics is highly regarded.
- Previous experience with SAP is advantageous.
- Strong customer service focus with the ability to build relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to make effective decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Highly developed interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
- The ability to operate autonomously and as part of a team.
