The Opportunity

Black Cat Civil has an exciting role for a mechanically minded individual, within our Fleet team. The Transport Allocator Role is responsible for the coordination and transportation of machinery, accommodation facilities, and parts to the wider team across regional and remote areas of Australia.

The role will be based from our Nambour Head office, supporting our operations across Australia. The role has excellent training and development opportunities for the right candidate.

Key responsibilities and skillset of the position include:

• Supervising drivers & transportation schedules

• Review and prepare paperwork associated with deliveries

• Liaising with company and sub-contractor drivers and end-users to ensure timelines are met.

• Ensuring the companies OH&S and Quality Management Systems are enforced

• Making decisions based on the best outcome for the business

• Maintain heavy vehicle accreditation compliance

• Ensuring the business meets State Legislative requirements

• Ensuring Permits are kept up to date

• Experience within the Heavy Haulage Industry

• Experience with Float movements

This opportunity is ideal for someone that enjoys a fast paced, dynamic environment and working within a tight-knit team.

Ideal experience includes:

• Extensive experience in Civil Construction Industry or Earthmoving will be highly regarded

• Excellent communication skills.

• MC Licence shall be highly regarded
