Form of workStaff Australia are currently looking for a Transport Allocator withForklift License in a fulltime role based in Murarrie, QLD.
Hours: Monday - Friday 4am-12pm.
Salary - 72k
About the role.
- Accountability for optimising and managing drivers hours and outside hire costs.
- Allocating and dispatching deliveries to meet deadlines, whilst ensuring adherence to KPI's
- Organisation and compiling of various paperwork and documents in preparation for drivers,
- Assist with various operational functions where the team may require support.
- The main role of Transport Allocator- is to effectively plan and execute customers' orders and deliveries from and to their requested delivery points
- Communicate all/any delivery/pickup issues with Contractual Clients and other customers.
- Ensure any and all issues are dealt with immediately and a solution found as they arise.
- First point of contact for all drivers
- Use of forklift (counterbalance & high reach)
What we are looking for.
- Hold a current and valid driver's license and reliable transport
- Hold a current Forklift License
- Valid work rights within Australia
- Experience and or ability to work in a fast-paced manual handling environment
- Ability to work both independently and within a team
- Work safely and efficiently with great attention to detail
- Safety conscious attitude
