Labourforce is seeking a transport allocator for our client based in Murarrie
Our client is an independent business dedicated to providing high quality services, specifically to the wine and craft beverage markets. They have extensive industry experience and as they are a niche business, they can offer specific knowledge on their industry and provide flexible services to their clients.
Our partner operates Monday to Friday. You will be reporting to the transport/customer service support manager and you will need to be available for a 4am - 12pm shift. There will be overtime offered during peak periods, and additional loading for work outside of normal hours.
What to expect:
Manage driver schedules and costs efficiently
Coordinate deliveries to meet deadlines and KPIs
Organise paperwork for drivers
Support the wider team with operational tasks
Plan and execute customer orders and deliveries
Quickly communicate and resolve delivery issues with clients
Address and solve problems promptly
Serve as the main contact for drivers
- Warehouse duties including use of a forklift to load and unload trucks during downtime and off-peak periods

- AM loading for work outside of normal hours
- OT paid daily (not after 38hrs)
About you:
- Experience as a transport allocator is a must
- Able to commit to a 4am start
- Experience using a forklift and current forklift license
- Flexibility to work overtime
- MUST have current Driver's license and own transport, and live within a suitable proximity to Murarrie
- Safety being a high priority
