Transport Compliance Management Assistant

Position Overview: We are currently seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Compliance Management Assistant to join our team on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our operations remain compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards, particularly in regard to the Chain of Responsibility legislation. Additionally, this role will provide personal assistance to logistics management team, contributing to the efficient coordination of our transport operations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development and implementation of compliance policies and procedures and Chain of Responsibility (CoR).
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to compliance activities; including vehicle maintenance logs and inspections reports.
- Monitor changes in regulations and industry standards and communicate updates to relevant employees/drivers.
- Provide support during regular external audits and regulatory inspections.
- Assist in the development and delivery of compliance training programs and toolbox meetings for employees/drivers.
- Provide personal assistance to logistics management; including preparation of reports and liaising with customers/drivers when needed.
Requirements:
- Strong attention to detail and exceptional organisational skills.
- Knowledge of the transport industry and relevant regulations is desired, including Chain of Responsibility & Heavy Vehicle National Law.
- Prior experience in Compliance Management or similar role is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interaction skills with employees and customers.
- Proficiency in record-keeping and data management.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, in a fast-paced and everchanging environment.
