In this role you will be responsible for meeting our commitment to our customer through the provision of quality service and operational efficiency.Working in collaboration with our people, every decision you make will be driven by safety, service and cost, partnering closely with customer and sub-contracting companies to achieve and exceed operational and financial metrics. You will also take ownership to identify and deliver continuous improvement initiatives, train and develop staff and adhere to BevChain policies and procedures. This is a permanent role operating Monday - Friday. Key areas:
- Promoting a safety-first culture and ensuring commitment to Safety, COR and Quality requirements at all times
- Operational responsibility with a focus on compliance, driving improvement and innovation and understanding subcontractor management
- Effective management, collaboration and development of direct reports and driver workforce to provide efficiency
- Analyse equipment and operational tasks to deliver productive outcomes through resource utilisation, route optimisation and subcontractor management
- Ensure the Truganina operation is providing superior service offerings to customers through a proactive approach to supporting relationship management and commitment to achieving contracted KPI's
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to promote continuous improvement
- Previous experience working in the logistics sector
- Experience managing people within a road routing transport operation
- Ability to confidently lead and develop a high-performance team
- Understanding of financial drivers and cost control
- Process driven, analytical and methodical
