This role provides senior leadership and guidance to the overall planning. governance and delivery of the cyber security and technology infrastructure portfolio. With a diverse range of skillsets across all project service disciplines, this role is key to ensuring that dependencies and synergies across several project streams are managed appropriately.
Working with senior stakeholders in business and technology functions within DTP as well as industry partners, this role enables the end to end delivery of solutions to achieve strategic business outcomes.

We are seeking a candidate with expertise in planning, managing, and evaluating complex cybersecurity and technology infrastructure projects. The ideal individual will ensure compliance with financial and resource management, mentor project teams, and develop systems for improved project management while demonstrating advanced governance, procurement, and stakeholder relationship skills.
Position Outcomes / Accountabilities
• Keep abreast of and respond to all project executions, progress to plan and production of major deliverables, intervening when necessary to review the current state and direct adjustments to plans and executions.
- Effectively lead, manage, motivate, and develop a multi-disciplinary team comprising DTP and contracted employees, ensuring employees have the capacity and capability to achieve agreed deliverables.
- Apply specialist Information Management and Technology (IM&T) program management knowledge and experience to ensure the application of contemporary governance and control mechanisms at program and project levels, providing advice to Project Controls Boards to assure delivery to budget, scope and schedule and managing changes and exceptions within established protocols.
• Apply independent judgement for the procurement, selection and management of contracted partners required to implement programs ensuring appropriate skills mix, knowledge transfer and value for money outcomes across the full program resource profile.
• Apply superior leadership and communication skills to establish and maintain effective and collaborative relationships with key internal and external stakeholders and service providers whilst working collaboratively with IM&T to ensure an effective team approach is adopted for business change initiatives.
• A high degree of emotional intelligence to navigate complex and dynamic environments where conflicting and changing priorities need to be catered for.
Qualifications and Experience
Mandatory • Bachelor's degree or professional qualification in program delivery
• Experience relevant to the capabilities of the role
• Cyber security or technology infrastructure program delivery experience
