Due to an internal position change within the Fulton Hogan business, an opportunity has arisen for a Transport Manager to manage the NSW Bitumen Transport operations based out of our McGraths Hill office in NSW. This opportunity will allow you to manage and take ownership of the bituminous product deliveries and maintain client and stakeholder relationships. You will manage all aspects of Quality, Safety and Environmental requirements as well as ensure training is provided for all drivers.
To be successful in this role you will have a relevant technical or trade qualifications with a real focus on safety, statutory compliance and quality management. You will have strong communication and leadership skills at all levels. With well-developed commercial skills and the ability to think analytically will set you up for success to ensure the department operates within the financial guidelines set by the board. You will also;
- Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of NHVAS, CoR and fatigue management compliance;
- Dangerous Goods experience preferred. Training in “Be Bitumen Safe” provided;
- Ability to lead and mentor team members.
