Role Purpose:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Manager Transport Operations (MTO) to lead our Transport Services Team. This role is crucial in developing growth initiatives, promoting services, managing fleet and assets, and ensuring the delivery of safe, reliable, and high-quality community transport services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop the Transport Services Team.
- Drive growth initiatives and promote our transport services.
- Oversee fleet and asset management.
- Manage day-to-day operations, scheduling, and dispatch to ensure service continuity.
- Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and service standards.
- Foster strong relationships with stakeholders and the community.
- Implement continuous quality improvement initiatives.
- Oversee recruitment, training, and development of team members.
Requirements:
Mandatory:
- NSW Driver’s Licence.
- NDIS Worker Screening Check.
- Working with Children Check.
Qualifications:
- Tertiary qualifications in Business Management, Social Sciences, or a related discipline; or demonstrated competence/experience to that level.
Skills and Attributes:
- Strong commitment to our mission and values.
- Proven management competencies in operational and project management.
- Expertise in motor vehicle fleet management and maintenance.
- Excellent problem-solving and prioritisation skills.
- Ability to manage service provision within budgetary constraints.
- Advanced interpersonal and client service skills.
- Ability to work independently and professionally with minimal supervision.
- Capacity to interpret and work within organisational policy and procedural guidelines.
- Community Transport Sector experience desired but not essential
