Excellent opportunity for a Transport Planning Executive to join a leading International Engineering Company in Brisbane, QLD to position them for significant growth in the Transport Planning market and to maximize the opportunities emerging from the Brisbane 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games (2032 Games).
THE ROLE
Re-envisioning transportation infrastructure and service provision - to remove, cap, renew and tame transportation infrastructure in cities.
Decarbonizing mobility and sustainability strategies - includes shifting transportation modes to more sustainable forms as well as looking at opportunities for electrification and decarbonization.
Corridor mobility strategies – looking at technology, demand management, introduction of new, high capacity modes, and physical or operational changes that make overall transportation activity more efficient; and
Human movement in the built environment - to better understanding how people move through places and spaces.
Develop, communicate, and gain commitment to the region’s Transport Planning strategy that reflects and enables the realisation of Arup’s strategic aspirations.
Grow our market share in the target market.
Raise company's name and profile in the target market industry circles
Identify, support and/or orchestrate the successful pursuit of prospects and projects which are critical to our Clients positioning in the market segment and/or need to be coordinated on a cross-cities/geographic basis (including participation in development of key bids).
Develop external business networks and a market profile
Identify and take responsibility for investments to develop our capability and market presence.
Actively lead and contribute to pursuits and bids in CPD
Conduct or participate in project reviews.
Develop effective working relationships with group leaders to ensure the market needs are understood and effectively reflected in the people/resourcing strategies.
Establish and energise a local network of market focussed professionals and communicate with the regional and global business network.
Seek commitment and engagement of Group and Discipline leaders in market activities.
Contribute strategically to selected bids and projects - Project Director roles, reviews, post-mortems, client meetings, team meetings, etc.
Source funding for market-focused investments and initiatives from global and local sources
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Recognised relevant tertiary qualifications;
Relevant industry experience within a consulting business environment;
Membership of relevant professional institutions/professional peer bodies or significant credit towards eligibility for membership;
Proven working knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, codes of practice, and guidelines – and related procedures including OH&S
Must have full Australian working rights - Citizen/PR/Working Visa to apply
